Meet with potential clients.
Review prospective projects including scope of work, design documents, client needs, site conditions, budgets, etc.
2.
Perform detailed quantity take-offs 3.
Obtain subcontractor and material quotes 4.
Prepare detailed proposals for construction services 5.
Manage customer relations during the estimating/bidding period 6.
Prepare proposal/contract packages for hand-off to project manager 7.
Prepare take-off and pricing tasks for project change orders Candidates must possess the following:
1.
Minimum of 2 years construction estimating experience 2.
Thorough understanding of standard construction practices, processes and methods 3.
Excellent communication skills 4.
Excellent computer skills; experience with estimating software 5.
Ability to manage multiple tasks 6.
Ability to work independently 7.
